TNT Roaming is a service offered by Talk ‘N Text to its subscribers abroad to still be able to use their TNT numbers. When TNT Roaming is activated, a subscriber outside the country may continue to receive and send text messages, dial and answer phone calls.
Although, by using this service, text and call rates are expected to be multiple times higher than the regular rates in the Philippines. On top of that, most services such as calls and texts promos won’t be available while roaming.
How to Activate TNT Roaming
- To activate TNT SMS Roaming, simply text ROAM ON to 333.
- In addition, to activate also TNT Voice Roaming, just text ROAM ON<space>COUNTRY NAME and send to 333.
It is recommended to activate it 24 hours prior to your flight outside the country. A ₱100 load balance is needed in order to be able to activate TNT roaming and maintain the same load balance while abroad to keep your roaming signal.
When you go back in the Philippines, don’t forget to deactivate your roaming service. To deactivate, just text ROAM OFF to 333.
